Trace element supplementation for calves – copper, selenium, vitamin B12. Discuss options with vet.

Drench calves. Double combination pour-ons should be given every 6 weeks and oral drenches should be given every 3-4 weeks.

Book in early strategic pregnancy testing.

Week Two

Monitor summer mastitis & be aware of fluctuating Bulk Milk Tank SCC.

Week Three

Early strategic PT begins now.

Week Four

Cows mated after late January will need to be induced as a second induction mob in early September, discuss length of mating period with vet to fulfill requirements of current Induction Code.
