Cows BCS 3.0 – 3.5 should be dried off now.
Arrange herd test to assist in culling and Dry Cow Therapy decisions.
Week Two
Continue Autumn magnesium supplementation if necessary.
Remember to mark / identify cows treated with Dry Cow Therapy when drying cows off early.
Week Three
Bloat season beginning again.
PT heifers from now on.
Week Four
BVD vaccination booster for calves.
Final PT to identify late calving cows / cows to be induced and empty cows.
